2014-What a busy year so far!
The children participated in more sporting events than ever this year. They included the usual suspects of hurling, football, rugby, athletics and swimming. However this year the school entered two new competitions in Basketball and soccer, both of which they did very well in. Please read on further through the reports that the children themselves have written about their sporting year at Inch NS.
Annual Sports Day
The school looks forward to it’s annual day again this year. The bulk of the day takes place in Drom-Inch GAA field where the entire school is split into teams of varying colours. There will a great mix of ages in the groups with each class being represented on each team. There is always huge encouragement from all sides as the children take part in various events such as the 3-legged race, sack race, spud and spoon race, javelin throw, crossbar challenge and obstacle course to name but a few.
