Picking potatoes!

There was huge excitement in the vegetable garden in September when Junior and Senior Infants got the chance to harvest some of the potatoes sown last year. 
Squeals of delight were to be heard as we dug up the plants and discovered the hidden treasures underneath! We practised our counting too-the record number of potatoes from one plant was 16!!
